A premium ceremonial-grade matcha sourced from the Uji region of Kyoto, Japan — the birthplace of Japanese tea culture and the most prestigious matcha-growing region in the world. Teelixir's matcha is made from first-harvest (ichibancha) tea leaves that have been shade-grown for 20–30 days before picking, stone-ground on traditional granite mills, and carefully processed to preserve its vibrant green colour, smooth umami flavour, and delicate sweetness.

100% Certified Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder (Camellia sinensis) — Uji, Kyoto, Japan
HOW TO USE
Directions: 1–2 grams (approximately ½–1 teaspoon) whisked with 60–80mL of hot water (70–80°C).
- Traditional preparation — sift 1–2g into a bowl, add 60–80mL hot water (70–80°C — not boiling), whisk briskly with a chasen (bamboo whisk) until frothy
- Matcha latte — whisk with a splash of hot water, top with frothed oat or almond milk
- Iced matcha — whisk with a small amount of hot water, pour over ice and plant milk
- Smoothie — blend with frozen banana, spinach, and coconut water
Use water at 70–80°C — boiling water makes matcha bitter. Ceremonial grade is best enjoyed whisked with water or in simple lattes. Store in a cool, dark place and use within 2–3 months of opening for best flavour.
